Hunter Valley Wildlife Park is located in the heart of the Hunter Valley ‘wine country’, around 7 minutes’ drive from Cessnock, 170km north of the Sydney CBD and 60km north-west of Newcastle.
The approximate 20.2 hectare site is home to a wide variety of mammals, birds and reptiles from Australia and around the globe. Visitors can experience the animals ‘Up Close and Personal’ feeding Meerkats, Marmosets, Tamarins, Binturongs, Lemurs and Squirrel Monkeys.
Hunter Valley Wildlife Park has many native Australian animals including Kangaroo, Wallaby, Koala, Quokka, Wombat, Tasmanian Devil, Flying Fox, Dingo and several native birds. Exotic species include African Lion, African Serval, Giraffe, Cheetah, Zebra, Ostrich, Meerkat, Iguana, Bearded Dragon, Dromedary Camel and Alligator.
