Mogo Zoo

Mogo Zoo is located on the NSW South Coast, 10 minutes from Batemans Bay, 290km South of Sydney and 160km East of Canberra. Mogo is owned by the Elanor Wildlife Park Fund and was developed in the late 1980’s. It opened to the public in 1989.

Mogo Zoo supports a large collection of endangered and exotic animal species and proudly boasts the largest collection of primates in Australia, including the Bornean Orangutan. Their Zebras and Southern White Rhinos also wander the Savannah plains alongside majestic Giraffes. Visitors to Mogo can experience the animals ‘Up Close and Personal’ including meerkats, feeding a lion or tiger, or simply enjoying the affectionate red pandas.

In addition to the open Savannah area, the approximate 25 hectare site also features beautifully landscaped gardens, a café, free parking for 100 cars and has a range of animal enclosures, buildings and fenced areas.
